Review on Complete Protection Shield: Elecshion - Easy Installation by Abhinav Drury

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent screen protection; privacy so-so

TL;DR: very thick and durable, no loss of feeling, easy to apply and pleasant to the touch. The filter performance is not what I was hoping for, but I don't know how it compares to others. This screen protector has the best installation solution I've seen - it comes with a frame to guide you and make it ridiculously easy to put it on perfectly with no bubbles and no pre-wetting. Unfortunately, it took me a while to realize that what needed to be removed from the back of the glass was a rigid sheet of plastic (no packaging), so I lost a lot of time poking around. When I noticed this and took it off for installation, a few dust particles had settled on the screen; although it's all up to me. From a performance perspective, that's good. The glass feels very thick and durable but doesn't seem to affect sensitivity, which is a plus. The mounting frame placed it *exactly* in the right place, which again really impressed me. The privacy filtering isn't as good as I'd hoped - you have to be at a pretty serious angle to the screen before it works, and there's no top or bottom filtering; only pages. I have no idea if it's better or worse than everyone else and I feel like it's as good as it gets, so here's the thing. Other things to note about filtering: If you look at it from the side at an angle, it starts out weird and slightly fuzzy. I found that a bit embarrassing. It also noticeably darkens the screen. It's not high praise, AFAIC, but it can be an issue for battery-centric users. Another thing to note is that the packaging was very well done - it's clearly someone's baby and they really take care of the unboxing. The carton is thick and smooth, and its contents are neatly and neatly arranged. It was impressive too.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
