First of all I didn't get this product for free or at a discount, I never spoke to the people who make it etc. These. this is a real review. I say this because I am going to give this product a very high rating. After buying 5 other different types of car phone mounts I FINALLY found one that works in every way. I have a smaller car, a 2002 Miata SE. It has smaller round vents. There's very little smooth, flat space on its dashboard. And I didn't want anything stuck to the windshield because being a small car it would obstruct the view too much. I bought 3 phone holders with air vents. They all had the problem of slipping off the vents no matter how tight I tightened them, hitting bumps in the road, misaligning my phone, etc. They also interfered with airflow from the vent. Next I tried a couple of holders that went into the CD player's CD slot. But both covered the digital clock/radio display. So I read a lot of reviews and tried this one, honestly without much expectation, but it stuck easily and VERY firmly to my chosen spot on the dashboard, I even found it wasn't perfectly level. sticking there VERY firmly for holding the phone is awesome, simple but secure and doesn't need magnets on the back of the phone case. The phone is easily adjustable in terms of hand position, phone tilt, etc. Yes, and the phone holder mechanics have enough space for any charging cable to Phone. I wish I had bought this before my cross country trip 4 months ago! Where my phone holder fell out of the vent, it was clipped twice (and I had to constantly adjust the phone's position). 5 stars across the board. Feel free to answer any questions.
