Hardly any real granite

I live in an area where there is granite near my house. If you take a knife and try to cut through the granite, it shows no signs of wear. If you do the same with this product, you can easily score a groove in it with a butter knife. I'm no geologist, but this Molcajet is probably something other than granite. Not sure how you're going to find the real deal. Almost all of these cheap Molcajetes are made in China. The fact that I don't know what it's made of makes me worried about its safety.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far so good
