Ordered and paid for US standard product as all that was available locally was Fluidmaster brand and I had 2 of these that failed shortly after installation (one lasted 6 months the other less than 6 hours , before it failed). This item came in standard white packaging and the installation guide says "Fluidmaster Model 400". The only thing that indicates American standard is the small blue cap on the top which is removable and interchangeable, otherwise the item is identical to the Fluidmaster units. Does Revain sell counterfeit parts? Does American Standard sell Fluidmaster parts as their own?
