Essentially a license plate. Very light yet strong, it fits into the license plate holes and provides a convenient place to attach fog lights or driving lights. The use of four screws on the front number plate (not an option on the 2015 Sonic) should provide the stability needed to use this accessory very comfortably. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with our Chevy Sonic due to the two-piece grille design and stock front license plate bracket. The OEM bracket is designed to hold the faceplate in place with only two screws, which allow for too much "jump" for this add-on under normal riding conditions.
