There are several rocking machines that are basically clones of a design brought to market by a very well known manufacturer of learning aids. I owned the original for about a year and it was one of my favorite tutorials. I found this out because I have one of the designer's other products, the Masonry Training System (also highly recommended). The design immediately piqued my interest as I had long thought that the original design could be improved. One of the main differences of this device is a longer slot. The original is pretty short. When used as intended, the front struts hardly come into play with a full shot. I kept driving the ball further and further into the slot to better center the ball between the front and back bars. This works great, but because the angle of attack is steeper, it doesn't really work with longer racquets. Slot It adds two design improvements that make it effective with longer clubs (including hybrids/fairway woods) and a driver. The longer slot provides the flat path needed for longer clubs, and the black bars have a slanted angle designed specifically for fairway woods and drivers. Large velcro patches allow you to adjust the position of the poles in almost any desired spot. I think the designer just took a good product and made it better. This trainer will definitely help your swing and is a lot of fun. The site has many helpful videos to help you get started.
