Please read if you are thinking about buying. I have had a Zebra label printer for many years. I've printed thousands of labels without a single problem or jam. But this Dymo 450 printer has a special place in the eternal electronics dump. Never before have I used such a device that cannot fulfill the claimed function. It doesn't appear to be able to print labels, but it does have a blue LED that blinks constantly (I've never had a paperweight that did). I'm trying to print 1x0.5 inch labels (Dymo brand). It doesn't seem able to get labels through more than one print job at a time without spectacularly jamming, wrapping labels around its internal spinner ten times before making horrible noises and flashing the blue LED on the front. Mind you, even if you remove the front cover and hold down the "Release" button, it's incredibly tedious to get all the labels out. It's like wrapping the object in 100 layers of plastic wrap and then sealing it with superglue - you just can't do that. In this case, press the "Release" button. This requires precise surgery that most people don't have the time or patience for. Yes, I have read the instructions. ". However, once the guide is in place, the labels can always slip underneath and get pushed into the feeder, causing jams. I've printed maybe 5 times successfully with this printer. And more than that, unsuccessfully. Even if it "Happiness" is the labels sometimes suck back and curl around the edges. It's beyond me. I wouldn't recommend buying it because it's cheap. In fact I'd say it's very overpriced if you can do something about it please refund me the printer and label roll or send me a comparable zebra printer ps the software is nice unfortunately it doesn't work with my zebra printer and it causes the dymo printer to corrupt itself.
