When mine arrived it was no longer in the original packaging and jumped around in the box with my other items. The first thing I noticed was that I didn't have alligator clips. Not that big of a problem as the kit still had fasteners for battery posts. I'm sure the dealer or manufacturer would replace them. At least I hope so. Connected the charging cable and set it to fast charging. It showed 7.1 amps, then 0.1 amps, then FULL. This happened in less than 5 seconds. I unplugged the charger; Adjusted the connections and tried again. The same thing. I checked the battery with two voltmeters, both read within 0.02 volts. I tried two more times before giving up fast charging. Now I've tried slow loading. It started charging at 2.9 amps for about 5 minutes, then 2.1 amps for 5 minutes, then 0.9 amps for 5 minutes, then FULL. The charger feels very hot. I tried two more times with the fan blowing over the charger. The same thing. I don't know if mine was damaged in transit. Almost all the problems others have encountered I have experienced myself. I ended up returning it for something I have more control over. The manual says it can take 19 to 37 hours to charge a 100Ah battery. From what I've seen, 17 hours seems incredibly optimistic.
