Review on HM Digital Waterproof pH and Temperature Meter, 3.3 x 8.5 x 2 inches, White by Jathan Louis

I bought this pH meter with optimism because I previously bought a TDS meter of the same brand that I like. I first read the instruction manual which, among other things, emphasized getting the meter wet with a sponge held in place with the electrode. on the counter cover. But when I examined the instrument, I found that the sponge and electrode were dry and crystals (NaCl) had formed on them. I called the company and was told to pour the provided liquid onto a sponge and let the measuring electrode equilibrate for 2 days. But the tiny amount of solution provided (less than 1mL), which I believe is a saturated NaCl solution, was barely enough to wet the sponge and electrode. But he did it anyway. After two days, I tested the meter according to the instructions provided. The result was only drift and incorrect readings. So I called the company again and the woman went through the testing procedures. Still got nothing but bad readings. Offered to send me a new meter if I send the broken one back first. I told her I would send it back to Revane instead and write a review.
