Previously, I bought a similar device from China, worked faithfully for several years. Having bought the same device in a store in 2022, but with a more convenient lid, I took out a device from the box in which something dangles inside. After checking on the calibration solutions, all the control points were in place, and I left to measure the water, upon arrival, I found that the device rebooted during the measurements. After finishing the measurement and upon arrival at the office, the device

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

the strongest of all portable pH meters. Calibration is simple, but solutions are needed in the future. When buying bags with solutions put.

Stable and solid. With a little something.

This is a strong and reliable PH grip. Just make sure you store it properly and it should serve you for a long time. I check the calibration sometimes and it keeps the calibration fine. If I had a catch - I have the "matching" PPM/TDS version of this PH meter. The TDS meter has a backlit display. Not this PH pen. I'm not sure what the reasons for this are. And that may seem trivial to many. Maybe that. But having that backlit display is certainly nice. I wish this PH meter had this feature.

Used professionally for over a year with no problems

After buying a few slightly cheaper gauges I finally broke down and bought this one. The next step in my lab will be to buy a device with an external electrode, but I've heard good things about it. As people have said, you should have a storage solution and keep the sponge and head wet all the time. I calibrate regularly with liquid and it has held up for over a year. I know this won't last forever and after my issues with my latest pH meters I have a spare handy if needed, but it's very easy…

First day of use. Measured 4.0 right after unpacking. I don't have a 7.0 solution yet, so I haven't tested it. This meter is quite simple and easy to use. ph and temperature of liquid solutions automatically. This costs a little more than some other portable pH meters, but so far I really like this meter. The sponge was completely dry when it arrived, but I quickly dampened it with a storage solution sold separately and it still seems to be working fine. This meter has allowed me to diagnose…

Very accurate for testing, measuring and checking

UPDATE 7 years. This counter is still running. There was some downtime, about a year and a half, and the probe dried up. I was about to buy a new one but was told to soak it in a 7.0 solution for a day and then in a storage solution for two days. After that I calibrated it and after calibration it was off by 0.08. BIG METER. Setting up the meter can be very cumbersome. However, once installed it is extremely accurate. I tested the pH of several liquids at work and then tested the same liquids…

    Reading stabilizes very very slowly

One of the things I was looking for in a pH knob was a relatively quick reading, maybe around 15-30 seconds. This meter will slow down significantly after 30 seconds and then drift toward its final reading for perhaps 15 minutes or more, to a drift of 0.5 or more. It's frustrating to make an addition and then have to wait long enough to get reasonably accurate readings before trying to adjust again. Yesterday it took me over two hours to test and optimize 4 solutions (each with several…

    This thing is the bomb

FWIW I am writing this review from the perspective of a spa user. You can use this tester for your swimming pool, saltwater aquarium or hydroponic plantation. I'm assuming you're looking at this article because you have needs that go beyond test kits or simple test strips. With this pH meter (hydrogen potential) you can quickly determine the pH value of your water. HM also has a COM-100 dissolved solids (TDS) meter which I've had for about a week and love it. The device is waterproof…

    My very first review!

I bought this pH meter with optimism because I previously bought a TDS meter of the same brand that I like. I first read the instruction manual which, among other things, emphasized getting the meter wet with a sponge held in place with the electrode. on the counter cover. But when I examined the instrument, I found that the sponge and electrode were dry and crystals (NaCl) had formed on them. I called the company and was told to pour the provided liquid onto a sponge and let the measuring…

First dry bulb instrument; The solution evaporated leaving crystals. I wrote about the replacement and specifically asked to check the meter. get a replacement. However, the beaker was dry with crystalline residue and glass splinters when the flask broke. Apparently my request to ensure that the storage solution protects the spare lamp was not complied with. My guess is that any returns request notes are not shared with the people assembling and packing. I wrote again for a replacement with a…
