Had connection problems initially but went away after a few minutes. Some types of connectivity issues are really easy to fix. Having one or more wireless controllers operating on the same frequency without being able to select a channel always causes problems. Even the Wave Bird controllers had issues with connectivity and channel selection. Unfortunately, any controller that operates at 2.4GHz these days has connection issues due to interference from too many devices in the same area. so I will forgive this problem without question. however, others may not. I've tried using this controller with both the Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo Switch. The controller works great when playing Super Smash Brother on Nintendo Switch. However, there are occasional issues when playing on the GameCube. For some reason the controller started working on its own even though I didn't give it any input. It's a real pain when you're playing Super Smash Brothers or Luigi's Mansion on the GameCube. Perhaps the manufacturer somehow releases an update for the controller to have proper GameCube compatibility and not just work with the Nintendo Switch.
