Update: Unfortunately I have to downgrade my rating of these protectors. After about two weeks of use, my first one broke almost completely. The problem is that the foil is very soft and leaves a lasting impression. I have a Note 10 and used the stylus to write some notes and those notes are now written permanently on the screen protector. You can see everything I wrote clearly and it won't go away. I've had an active few days and the phone was in the back pocket of some loose cargo shorts. There is no pressure on the phone yet, on the second day the entire surface of the protector now has a textured pattern from the pocket fabric. That's ridiculous. This film is so soft and warps so easily that I don't feel like it offers much protection. If the pen's smooth tip and soft cloth will damage it, how much protection can it offer from something that might actually scratch the screen? I suspect not much. Even at such a cheap price, they're just not worth it when every time I take them out of my pocket or purse they leave a new indelible imprint on the tread. And there is. I took a chance based on the price and the reviews. The $45 screen protector that came with my phone about 18 months ago is badly worn. It was easy to install. I watched their very quick YouTube video and installed it. It fits perfectly and looks a lot better than the much more expensive one I bought with the phone. I say it looks better, but the fact of the matter is that it's almost imperceptible. The one I bought with the phone had a little texture while this one is completely smooth. I've been using my phone "naked" for the past few days since removing the old protective film and it's been a nerve-wracking luxury. I don't feel like giving up much on this volume as I can hardly tell it's there. Fingerprint reader and touchscreen work perfectly. Can't speak to durability as I just installed it but for the price they won't last too long for me to feel like they're worth it. I hope they protect quite well from scratches. The time will show.
