Good quality. Nice and thick/durable. Goes very well with our hiking/tennis/running shoes. We don't use this rug at the entrance of the truss trunk so I'm not sure how it will stand up to that kind of dirt. We use it behind the door and it holds up well. We've had it for almost a month now and it shows minimal signs of use. (You can see where our mud tracker keeps wiping his shoes. LUCKY THAT DOESN'T GET INTO THE HOUSE!) For the most part I give it a good shake or nudge and the dried mud/dirt is removed.
