I have a full set of these drill guides including large and small fractional sizes, wire gauge and this one for metric sizes. They're just good tools. The V-groove on the bottom is precisely centered on the holes, the markings on the side show the exact centers of the corresponding holes, and the hole sizes are ideal for the bits they are designed for. I use them whenever I need to drill a hole accurately with a handheld machine or drill a hole into the edge of an existing hole, which is almost impossible without a drill guide. I've used them with end mills and reamers to enlarge holes, and even with a drill press to keep the drill bit from bending. They are also good for use with long drills where there is room to clamp the guide but not enough room to get the drills close to the drilling site.
