Review on 🦖 Colossal Tyrannosaurus Dinosaur from Jurassic World by Derek Evans

While I think it deserves 5 stars, I'd like to start by saying it's not 'perfect', although it's made with my Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaurs compared to Jurassic Park 90s. , which have a leathery rubbery texture and feel like an internal skeletal structure. They don't make these anymore! But when you consider it's twice the size of my biggest old one AND my son has so much fun playing with it, eating every little toy in sight, it makes up for it. It's really fun! Well that's a big daddy dinosaur for the ones I gave him. You'll quickly overcome the visual challenge of combining hard plastic and softer rubber materials for different body parts once you start playing with it. So far I haven't had any issues with durability. He survived a birthday party for a 3-year-old where children of the same age grabbed him and played roughly with him at some point during the day. However I had to ask my husband to reattach the leg because when I first put it together it kept falling out and I was worried we would have the leg drop issue mentioned in some reviews. He tried and after a little effort and a lot of pressure we heard a loud satisfying click and the leg was as hard as the other side that was attached. So note that it takes quite a bit of effort to put that leg in because my husband is very strong and it took him a bit to twist and push off! Contrary to some reviews, mine holds up well even on carpeted floors. All you have to do is place your feet, but even then it's not exactly how your feet need to be in order not to fall. My 3 year old sometimes asks us to help him position his legs when he's struggling because he's so tall, but that's to be expected. He can play with it and for the most part it stands on its own. This is a great toy!
