I bought this along with a Pitaka phone case for my Samsung Galaxy S8+. The charger was well packaged and came with all the necessary parts. I was excited about the possibility of wireless magnetic charging in my car. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bad experience for several reasons: 1. The air vent mount doesn't hold onto my phone and keeps falling out of the air vent. It only got worse over time and the vent mount became unusable because it now keeps falling off. It came with a stand that attaches to the dash, but I don't want to attach anything to the dash. This is the purpose of venting.2. When it worked (only about 2 weeks) my phone kept falling so I couldn't see the screen. I tightened the ball screw on the back as tight as I could, but that didn't matter, the mount couldn't support the weight of my phone. This aspect of the mount's "power" should be given ZERO stars. As I mentioned earlier I use a Pitaka phone case which is very minimalistic and elegant, in fact the only case that works with this mount as advertised. So that shouldn't be a problem.3. In order for the phone to actually charge, the phone and mount must be perfectly aligned. I couldn't just clip my phone to the mount and expect it to charge, I had to hold it in the perfect position for the phone to actually charge. All in all it was a very disappointing experience and an expensive one too! I DO NOT recommend this charger and I cannot recommend a case as they should go hand in hand.
