OK, yes I spoil my granddaughter. She loves to play with her friends at school and she's put it at the top of her Christmas list (right next to a hoverboard and a big Beanie Boo toy; she's 10 and everywhere!). But if it adds to longer periods of school playtime where she imitates her teacher, having fun and learning. then I'm all for it. It was easy to set up directly on their TV to use as a monitor. The auto focus works very well. I haven't tried all the features yet, but since her teacher has one in the class, my granddaughter showed me some of the features and how to use them.
