We ordered 12 x 18 for our large room. We have a new puppy and kids so we wanted something that could really handle the traffic and wouldn't be too expensive if something happened to ruin it. The colors are great and it looks way more expensive than I expected. It's not a very thick rug, but we have it in a high-traffic area, so the fact that it's low to the ground makes it easy to walk around the edges without tripping. It got folded and creased in half so I was worried about creases, but it lay on the floor for about 12 hours and is flat almost everywhere. A few heavy books in the corners at night should help. Finally, it was raining heavily today as we rearranged the furniture to put the carpet down and despite our best efforts there were traces of dirt on the carpet. Wipes clean with a damp paper towel with minimal effort. Very happy with this purchase.
