Simple, efficient and easy. What else could you ask?

Update August 15, 2018 I've been using it for a while and really like the product. Remember that this is a personal network (e.g. network) device. The only thing I need to point out is the issues with using this device with a VPN like Cisco Anyconnect. Depending on your VPN settings, you may not be able to use this product while connected to a VPN. Seems to work for some, not for others. It wasn't too hard for me to figure out why, but you should be aware that it may affect your experience. Here's a first review: A great handy way to add display capabilities to your device. I took it out of the box, plugged in the included power dongle, plugged it into an outlet, hooked it up to a monitor via HDMI, and I'm good to go. So far it has been used on 2 devices with no issues. #1 – Lenovo Yoga 720 15 inch with Windows 10. Easy connection with no issues. It is possible to swap laptop display, extend laptop display or duplicate laptop display. #2 is the Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone. . Easy connection with screen mirroring that mirrors the image on your phone's screen. No problem, the sound is also transmitted to the connected device. Easy to connect and use. More importantly, as long as your laptop supports Miracast, it works. Older devices may have buggy compatibility, but I suspect newer devices shouldn't have any issues with Miracast. A nit that I deducted 1 star for. Save energy. The monitor stays on all the time This results in the need to turn off the monitor manually when not in use. When the monitor turns off, it automatically disconnects from the computer, requiring me to reconnect when I return to Windows. Actiontec needs to update the firmware to allow the connected display to go into sleep mode when requested by Windows.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE. Just plug the adapter into your HDTV and you're done with three simple clicks.
Cons
  • Exchange Availability
