I really like this new LED video light. The LED power is 100W, which is roughly equivalent to a 900W incandescent bulb, but the heat and electricity costs are a fraction of the cost. It comes with a 7" reflector and uses a Bowens mount so it's already compatible with all of my light shapers (reflectors, cosmetic trays, softboxes - which I already have). It also has a handle on the base so you can hold it in your hand, in addition to mounting it on a stand; It's a really smart design, especially for outdoor shots where the light needs to follow the subject all the time. This light also comes with a remote control that allows you to adjust the intensity of the light. A simple click up or down changes the intensity by 10%, but pressing and holding buttons on the remote changes levels in 1% increments. The intensity control on the back of the device is a rotary control that works in 1% increments from 0% to 100%. Perhaps the feature I like best, and one of the reasons I actually bought this flashlight, is that it can also run on batteries; There are battery compartments on the left and right side of the flashlight, and if you add your own Sony style NP batteries, you can run it on battery power and use the flashlight anywhere. This is a great solution for video recording on the road, in transport or at night. I've been using it for about a week and it has worked. Since I liked it very much after unpacking it, I also took some shots of the model with the supplied 7" reflector, one of my softboxes and one of my beauty plates, which show the effect in different intensities.
