I have bought and built many level shifters of this type for my radios, but this one only works when used with the Prolific 3.2.0.0 driver. Download the driver on Windows 10. I have used it with Jingtong, Wouxun, Baofeng and Chirp software and the cable worked first time and every time on every radio. The USB assembly rattled a bit inside but popped open easily and added a drop of hot glue. no more noise. Great cable for the price. - k4fz
