This case replaces the "Survivor for iPad 2 & iPad 3 Military-Duty Case with Stand" (see my other review). So far, so good! However, we took an extra precaution (which the manufacturer would probably disagree with): by placing the iPad behind the lid and in the recess of the case, we effectively glued the back to the lid. (Just make sure you give the iPad a thorough cleaning before you put it in the case. It won't come out easily if you want to remove it later!)
