We bought these for our hammocks. They work great when you need carabiners to use with harnesses. They seem strong and don't bend. They're lightweight and seem to work well, but they're brand new so they should. I weigh over 200 pounds and they don't flex at all. We even put 325 pounds on them between my son and I and they held the weight great! We used them on July 1st and ran 3.5 miles at Unitas, Utah. The light weight is fantastic if you're concerned about keeping the weight of your pack to a minimum. I personally have only used the straps 2 times, but my son (13 years old) has used them at least a dozen times in the garden and at friends. I still think my boy should learn how to use ropes instead of straps, learn how to tie a truck hitch to secure his hammock, but that's another point. But if you do decide to go with hammock straps, they seem like good value for money and work well out of the box. If I needed another set or two of carabiners, I'd be more than happy to order them again! Costs money!
