They are of excellent quality. However, I was skeptical about the price.

Just opened. They are of excellent quality. I was skeptical because of the price but the clip is solid and well shaped. The small end is rounded for rope, so they are perfect for hammock ropes. I will update after the hammock ride and they have been extensively weight tested. :)

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Much stronger than I thought

I've just used one of these to connect two tow straps, one on my truck and the other on the stump of a large sticky bush. I cut off the roots of the bush, but the stump was still strong enough for my 4WD F-150 to slide sideways on the pavement before pulling the stump. The carbine survived. Pleasantly surprised. A well made product at a time when many products are not.

Pros
  • Great general specs
Cons
  • I'm writing back

Works for simulators

Incredibly light and with a wire clasp actually easier to use than the regular clips you see on gym equipment. Since they are aluminum and not steel, I assume they will go bad. The edges of the sports parts are not all smooth and the anodized part is easily scratched when moved by hand. I didn't buy them as a fashion statement, so yes. Additionally, the ends of the wire locks are ground to prevent loosening. All in all a very good rifle.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Fits

Nice gun, but expensive.

I chose these rifles because I didn't want the super cheap ones, they seemed a bit more premium but I'm not sure if they are. They look good and seem to rank higher than some of the cheap ones, but the gates on them aren't very strong. I received them with the intention of paracording them and tying them to my kayak. So I have a couple of handy carabiners to attach my bag, fridge or whatever. But in a few cases, the container turned sideways and the gate popped out the wrong way. Instead of…

  • Very good value for money

Better for my keys, hammock and suitcases

Climbing carabiners are designed to save lives in free fall to certain death. These clips are rated for about half that voltage. In other words, they're great for all smaller applications, and of course the price reflects that they're not designed for splwfftcd (see above). Mostly, of course, I use them to store keys. They do very well, the difference between this and a regular keychain is impressive. I don't hang my stainless steel bottle or Nalgene water on it and leave this routine to my…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

They work great when you need carabiners.

We bought these for our hammocks. They work great when you need carabiners to use with harnesses. They seem strong and don't bend. They're lightweight and seem to work well, but they're brand new so they should. I weigh over 200 pounds and they don't flex at all. We even put 325 pounds on them between my son and I and they held the weight great! We used them on July 1st and ran 3.5 miles at Unitas, Utah. The light weight is fantastic if you're concerned about keeping the weight of your pack to…

Pros
  • Durable Test Results

Great clips! in Accessories

Chaining our *strong* Lab in the winter was a challenge as the small clamps froze and became difficult to manipulate in the frigid snowy weather. I bought them as an "intermediary", left them on the end of the chain and attached to the dog's collar when he went outside. The last few clips barely lasted the winter and they fell apart. At first I was a bit incredulous about the design. (Will that wire-like thing hold up?) I didn't have to worry. The first clip is still up and running and I…
