Must be the wrong belt! I ordered them for a 1999 f150 4.6L standard cab with a short bed. Well, after several hours of struggling with them, I came to the conclusion that they are clearly not the right length! The front one seems correct, but this rear one is about 6 inches shorter; Not even close, and yes I crashed the whole tank into the truck bed. What a mess; and most likely a waste of money. I've already dyed them black so I doubt I can return them now. Pooh!
