Review on Klein Tools 5541610-14 Tool Bag with Shoulder Strap: 40-pocket Storage for Tools, Vibrant Orange Interior by George Sullivan

Perfect for sprinkler work

The main downside for me with this tool bag is the weight that comes from the molded plastic base. I love that this feature allows the bag to sit upright and protect it from mud and water, but the added weight is significant enough to add to the fatigue of hanging your tools on your shoulder all day to have. A few things that make this bag great is that the pockets are big enough for big hands to reach for small items that might end up on the bottom. Photo shows 4 cup and apron shaped sprinklers conveniently stored in these pockets which expand when empty to reveal the full perimeter of the main compartment. I can carry 8-10 semi-recessed or ESFR heads, and 20 or more commercial heads fit in easily. Tool sockets fit ratchets and 12" cresent wrenches. The interior pocket holds a 1 1/2" spatula with rounded blades to prevent damage to materials. The pocket holds the marker. The interior pockets are deep and will swallow a felt tip pen. Every tool pouch I've ever had had a marker pocket /Pencil bag. I may update this review if I find a better solution than stuffing one of the pockets to make it smaller. Overall, this is by far the best shoulder bag I've ever used for my work. I doubt that a better solution can be found. Whether I'm installing sprinkler heads, connecting pipes or doing repairs, this bag adapts very well to any task. Highly recommended.
