I'm a new Ooma customer and this new version of Telo Air is great. It was simply connected to my Wi-Fi using the Android Telo Setup app. I also subscribed to the annual premium plan and my local phone number was ported for free. This is a great option as I plan to make full use of the advanced call blocking features and the Ooma Android app to make and receive calls outside of the US. My local phone number was ported from AT&T in less than a week. At this point, the old landline at the entrance was switched off. This allowed the new Telo Air to be securely plugged into any handy phone jack in the house to serve all of my other phones. So far everything has worked without problems. Remember that you must have internet access. And if that Internet service is DSL, it makes switching around the house more difficult because it uses a phone line. I wish there were some extra features in the Android Ooma app. For example, I am not forced to use the same ringtone as my cell phone number.
