Review on MICHELIN Pilot Alpin 4 235/35 R20 92W Winter by Aneta Joanna Siudak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, it is made well, the price is also pleasing.

Rubber in fact for dry winters. In the snowy winter, and even on a full drive, there are a lot of reservations to it, but since. the car is not the most common (M5 F90) did not affect the pleasure of driving in any way) Handing out sideways is excellent :) And if you drive adequately and turn on your head, without trying to drive in winter as if it is summer, then even with Velcro everything will always be fine . Good luck on the roads.

Pros
  • Good Velcro. Handling on dry pavement is chic, on wet pavement is also excellent. It copes tolerably with snow, does not dig in (if you do not try to storm the snowdrifts), but there are reservations.
Cons
  • Reservations are such that if there is minimal ice, then there is simply no braking. If there is heavy snow, even without ice, it is the same. Therefore, it is necessary to predict everything very strongly in advance, and drive as carefully as possible. Velcro is always Velcro, and in difficult conditions it loses a lot to spikes. But on asphalt fierce delight, of course. By the way, I still ride it (May is in the yard), and drove along the WHSD after the rain. There is a noticeable hydroplaning effect at speeds of 130-150, so you have to be very careful with ruts and puddles. If you miss, again, you can get out of the blue. But the tires are still winter, and not particularly designed for puddles. And, well, yes, I would never put it on a monodrive (but it’s understandable).
