Firstly, if it is titanium, then it is a poor quality alloy. It came with tiny bits of metal attached to it with a magnet. Second, it was almost impossible to open a bottle with a ring that came with the kit. Pulling the ring was painful because it was digging into my finger. after the bottle was finally opened, the ring almost completely fell apart and lost its shape until it was no longer remotely round. So the ring is disposable at best. finally it was so difficult to open that the contents of the bottle spilled out and splattered all over the place in a big mess. the bottle was a standard cola bottle with a standard cap. At most for a one-off emergency, but I wouldn't count on that.
