Review on Host Freeze Cooling Cup Set: Plastic Double Wall Insulated Tumbler with Gel for Chilled Wines - Red & White Wine Glasses (8.5 oz, Grey) by Paul Wall

They work as advertised and chill your white wine in a glass pretty quickly. We've had them for a year now and they're just starting to get rid of the plastic chemical smell that interferes with their use which is why I'm only giving them 3 stars. I'm not sure if a magic solvent would have eliminated the "new plastic" smell sooner without damaging the plastic. We tried cleaning them with dish soap and lots of water but the smell didn't go away, it must be a property of the plastic itself. If they could eliminate the smell before shipping this would definitely be a 5 star product. We got a lightning deal with them and were so excited about the concept that we bought two more after the deal was closed. before we knew about the smell. Update 12/26/2016: We gifted the set to my daughter-in-law - one of hers cracked in the freezer from freezing and thawing within a few months of us giving it to her (didn't drop it!). . I wish she would have told us sooner as we could have returned and replaced it but she just threw it away. So a star deduction for that.
