Review on πŸ”Œ Kantek PowerCentral Cable Management/Power Hub/Surge Protector/Monitor-Tablet Stand, Supports 5 Power Cords and 3 USB Ports, Compact Size 11.8" x 6.7" x 3.5", White/Black (CM1100) by Jaie Bobin

Nice block but a bit small and difficult to access.

On the good side: works well as a command center (I haven't done surge protection test yet). Clear buttons that light up to show what's on and off (though this can be an issue for those sleeping in a room with one). The bad: Not terrible, but a little awkward to reach, not at all suited to bulky plugs, and while I appreciate the ability to hide and organize cords, the unit is deep enough that coordination is more of an issue than it's worth. This is especially true if you have poor eyesight like I do. Luckily mine isn't where others can see. One last thing, if you are planning to put a monitor larger than 19 inches on it, you will need a bigger block or flatter surface to put it on. This unit is ridiculously small for my 27 inch monitor, but fits three external hard drives quite well.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are some nuances
