inferior materials

It does what I want, but not as well as I would like. The plastic case is cheap, the keys are pressed with a lot of effort. This causes the device to slide across my desk surface and requires me to use two hands to press a button. The small door, which you can put back in after you've attached extra cables to the back, is also very cheap plastic and doesn't hold cables as easily as it should. In general it does what I need. But I don't see myself ever buying it again.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Clean up and reduce energy consumption

The two things that drive me crazy are the awkward messing up of chords and the waste of energy if the electronics are left plugged in even when they're turned off. This makes my eco-heart sad. This handy electronic chord organizer solves both problems simultaneously with easy access to the front panel USB ports. These buttons actually turn everything you have plugged in on and off when pressed! How cool is that! It comes with a whole bunch of common elements that we're plugging in, plus some…

Reusable sticker

I love this design. It's like Blade Runner; Retro-futuristic look. I was concerned that the stickers can only be applied once as the back of the sticker is very sticky. However, I did notice that there is a nick on the sticker but not on the buttons themselves. The sticker can be stuck on and then peeled off. The material is so thick that even if you pry it, there will be no creases, no stains, no stains on the buttons of the stickers. The stand is strong. My monitor is even behind the back of…

Nice block but a bit small and difficult to access.

On the good side: works well as a command center (I haven't done surge protection test yet). Clear buttons that light up to show what's on and off (though this can be an issue for those sleeping in a room with one). The bad: Not terrible, but a little awkward to reach, not at all suited to bulky plugs, and while I appreciate the ability to hide and organize cords, the unit is deep enough that coordination is more of an issue than it's worth. This is especially true if you have poor eyesight…

Too expensive for cheap plastic junk.

I bought this to serve as the main controller for a range of guitar amps and while it definitely works as it should, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The first thing that struck me was that the chassis was made out of cheap and flimsy plastic, similar to what's used in cable shields, and probably couldn't support much weight; In fact, I would suggest not even mounting a monitor on this thing. The back cover also didn't fully attach when plugging in the cables, which only adds to the…

More Than An Extension Cord With Cord Box

I was looking for a cord box and an extension cord to fit in, but I came across this article and decided to give it a try. I've been using it for a few weeks and it works great. I love that it's designed to sit on your desk and be functional. Instead of an extra box that sits on your desk and serves no purpose other than to hide the extension cord and cords, the product can be used as a stand for computer monitors, tablets and phones. Because it is a combination cable box and splitter, the…
