Review on Conair INFINITIPRO 3Q Compact Brushless Motor Styling Tool or Hair Dryer - Pink by Teresa Presha

Strange. Not sure what to think of this

I appreciate it being light weight and a bit quieter than a regular hair dryer. And the back is easy to detach to clean the filter. I used to use powerful blow dryers and wanted another to dry my thick hair quickly. However, it blows SO hard (even at low speed) that my hair just flies and tangles all over the place - and I only have shoulder length hair, I can't imagine how tangled it would be if it were longer. I was having a really hard time combing my hair because the force of the air blew it off the brush so now my hair doesn't look straight like blow dried, it's a little frizzy. And again it was at a low level, at a high level it was impossible to use. (When I tried high power and accidentally blew air into my ear, it hurt, not from the noise but from the air pressure.) Doesn't heat enough either. Warm felt cool and hot felt barely warm. So even with a hurricane blowing over my head, my hair took the same amount of time to dry as it would with a regular (less than 2000w) hair dryer because the air wasn't hot enough. I think it's reassuring that it doesn't damage my hair from overheating, but I'd rather risk damage to shave off the few minutes to dry my hair and get it looking how I want it. May suit someone with very short hair that just needs to be loosened and not brushed. I think I will send it back as I think it is defective due to the lack of heat.
