Nab falls out, magnets are weak

It's perfect on paper! Not so much in real life. Two generous stars because it kind of works. When I say "patch" here, I mean the bit that goes into your USB-C port: I tried it in my main USB-C port on my Chromebook and the bite came out of the port before the magnet turns off. So I plugged it into a USB-C port that I rarely, if ever, use to see if it would be tighter. No, it still pops out of the port very easily. I tried this on my phone and several other devices: same problem. I've been using it for a while, but I've also found that simply moving my laptop off my lap onto the coffee table (make sure the ledge stays in) detaches the magnetic part. enough to stop charging. Most of the time I would return to the laptop with the adapter attached semi-magnetically and the battery dead. I'll let it wait a few more days to see if anything is user error, but for now it's the most likely. go back. If it was around $5, that might be acceptable value for money. BTW I have other magnetic USB-C chargers and the bar is snug enough to stay in (and a little difficult to remove!).

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • The list will be long.
