Review on Hyundai Sonata Fuel Filler Opener Actuator 81590-3S000 for Sport GLS Hybrid 2.4 2.0 L4 (2011-2015) - Replace 815903S000 Gas Door Actuator, Release Handle, Latch, Lock by Olusola Edwards

While this product restores the function and control of the fuel filler flap, it is not a perfect fit for the 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS. The small square around the protruding "finger" trigger that controls the locking and unlocking of the fuel filler flap doesn't fit properly. The edges are hardly big. However, I was able to screw a screw into the device when replacing it and it works. I'm planning to buy a separate, longer screw to try and tighten the device in place. This is a nightmare design from Hyundai. I don't know if they ever thought this part was going to break or if they knew exactly what they were doing and were just trying to scam the buyers out of more money, but I'm inclined to believe the latter given the dealership asking $300 for the part and labor.
