Review on Garmin GLO Portable GPS Receiver with GLONASS Technology and Vehicle Power Cable by Leonard Herrera

I used this device with an iPad Mini 2 and the Avenza mapping app to track my location in the Palau areas. Glo did very well. Excellent battery life (one full charge far exceeded my 4-6 hour continuous jungle excursions). I charged it every night but it would last 8 hours or more on a single charge (I left it on a couple of times and it lasted over 8 hours). It simply connected to Bluetooth on my iPad and usually found satellites within a minute or two. It was traced very well even under the jungle canopy (some of which were quite thick). I was very happy with his performance. Great tool (and a compass in case you lose power).
