I love this monofin! That's all I wanted. (The monofin also came with neoprene shoes/socks and a holdall.) First of all, the Linden monofin is made of hard plastic and rubber. The materials are strong and sturdy, but of course they allow you to move in the water. Not to mention the colors (I have blue and purple) are gorgeous! The top part of the plastic is slightly scratched, I just ran my nails over it and left slightly noticeable scratches, but that's all my fault. Neoprene bands are very comfortable and soft! It's like a cloud at your feet. I'm a US women's 7 or 8ft and with the straps fully tightened my feet could be locked in place. Haven't tried it with the neoprene shoes/socks that come with it, but I'm sure my feet will get better with it. However, the monofin sits perfectly on my feet. As for performance. WOW! I've only used FinFun so far and it's a 100% improvement. I've read that the Linden motor is good and I think that's putting it mildly! Even I, a young swimmer, could swim very fast in this tail. You can feel the water hitting your face as you swim, leaving a trail of bubbles on the water surface. Overall, it's pretty easy to swim in a monofin, but you'll need a little more power than FinFun to hit with results. Drainage holes allow resistance-free swimming. It's pretty easy to spin too! I would definitely recommend the Linden monofin - all I can say is have power in your dolphin kick - it swims fast and is easy to learn. I can't wait to use it more often! <3
