I work from home and multitask to the max. I usually need working conference management software, Outlook for email, Skype for instant messaging, some Excel/Word documents and an open web browser to get help. All at the same time. Both of my 23-inch IPS monitors worked great for a few years, but when I saw this I knew I needed one. It takes some time to get used to such a screen. I've almost always worked with windows maximized to fill. Monitor. If you do that with this thing, you're wasting a lot of space, so I'll have to get used to the new way of working. It's impressive when 3 full size documents are open in front of you, in Word documents it is 4 pages wide (really changing the way you work). The only downside isn't the monitor itself, it's a side effect of how I have to use my computer and my colleagues' gear. . When I'm in an online meeting (Webex/Skype/etc) and using this ultrawide monitor, it shows people monitoring in 32:9 aspect ratio (envelope). Because they usually have standard 20-23 inches. Monitors, it represents a shared screen on their computer, which makes what I'm imagining very small. I ended up having to move one of my old 23 inch monitors out of the way so I could share this (normal aspect ratio) screen.
