Reading other people's reviews about the threaded shaft breaking on the second pair of springs they were compressing made me willing to buy other hardware to fix the work to do. But I have disassembled and assembled 3 pairs of heads so far and the tool is absolutely worth the money. I simply lubricate the threaded shaft with oil throughout the spring removal/installation process and use the brass nut that comes with the kit. with him as head.
