Took the tried and true and love this set

I am in dire need of a new set of pots and pans, especially as I shot my arms through in a car accident after 4 surgeries. I have a cookware set that I've used for 50 years, but after borrowing a pot here and there I no longer have a complete set. I bought iron pans to go with it, but due to an accident I can't lift them anymore. I have read Amazon reviews of various brands ad nauseam. I was shocked by the reviews that the cookware would only last a few years! So I went back to Farberware. I didn't buy stainless steel, I thought it might be too heavy. I bought red nonstick because everything in my kitchen is red. When I opened the box I was very disappointed. Other than that, the whole set arrived in perfect condition - no dents, no scratches, nothing broken - everything looked so small. But I'm only one person, so I figured they'd be fine. Compared to my other set, the smallest pot in my old set is larger than the largest pot in my new set. I went back online to check the capacity and while this set is a bit smaller, looks are deceiving. There is a 2 liter pot big enough to make soup - I'm just one person. A 10 inch pan doesn't look like it, but it does. i like pens I can lift pots without burning my hands and the glass lids are a plus - I can see what's going on without lifting the lid. It's easy to store as I can stack everything except the soup pot. I think that this set is not suitable for a family with children, but for one person it is quite suitable. Only time will tell how long this will last. Ok, I had the opportunity to use them for a few days. Cleaning is so easy it's almost too good to be true. I noticed earlier that they look smaller, especially pans. This morning I understood why. The bottom of both pans has less surface area than the sides, which flare out towards the top, giving the pan a 10-inch diameter. At first I thought it was a little sloppy, but then I noticed that the bottom of the pan fits the burner perfectly, allowing everything in the pan to heat evenly. I thought it was brilliant because in the past when I used a pan that was too big for the burner, everything in it didn't cook or heat evenly. I have now sold this set completely and I am very glad that I bought it. On top of that you can't ask for a better price, it's an absolute win-win situation for me. Will I recommend it? Absolutely! I've had this set for 6 months now and I'm completely satisfied with it. They still look like new and are very easy to care for. How simple? I always forget something on the stove and have to set a timer to remind me. Well, one day I was reheating chicken soup and forgot the timer. I went to the kitchen and all the liquid was gone, the pan was black on the outside. I took it to the sink and the dried soup flowed straight out without effort, and when the pot got into the pot, the black color on the outside immediately disappeared and the pot turned red again. You don't even realize I've lit the soup (I mean, who's burning the soup?) This set is just perfect for me - that's all I need. I love it and would definitely recommend and buy again.
