This is the best of these ashtray cup holders I've found. Complaints are about fit only. It's a bit short and too small in diameter to fit snugly in my 2016 Jeep Patriot's cup holders. However, the lid and base are actually steel as advertised. This allowed me to glue a thin, round magnet to the bottom of the cup holder, which holds the ashtray well and makes it easy to remove for cleaning. The blue LED is well placed and bright enough to illuminate a white interior without being distracting at night. The lid opens wider than other ashtrays I've tried, which is great! However, it's strong enough to last much longer than all the plastic versions that break too easily. If it had a removable battery I would give it 4.9 stars!
