I was concerned as I was going to use it with my work laptop and thought I might need to download something, but the connection was as easy as plugging it in! The only thing I came across was the instructions on how to fold the base stand, so I ended up watching a YouTube video to help. This was a little confusing for me, but it seems to work fine once you get the hang of it!
