You are worth it. I have asthma and can't stand litter dust, but I also have a stubborn fat cat who loves litter. I don't know why he cares because he never manages to bury his poop, but whatever. He survives by "burying" his feces for about 10 minutes at a time. He scratches his sides and tries to pull the bag over the box. We had to tie it tighter on the sides so he couldn't pull it in, pinching a little on each side to hold it in place on all sides. He never managed to scratch it. And I could just pick up the whole bag, drop it, and then, holding my breath, empty the trash and run. He's happy, I can breathe, everything's fine.
