The main reason I didn't give it a higher rating is that the controls on the back of the right earcup are very difficult to use use in the dark. The sound quality is actually very good for the price. I bought these headphones to use in bed at night to avoid disturbing my sleeping spouse while I watch TV. The problem is that the control buttons are too close together and they're all on the same earcup. If you can't hear any sound, you're not sure if it's just muted, set too low, or completely muted. Good luck in the dark finding the right shortcut keys in the right order to figure it out. They should have put the power button somewhere else, maybe on a different earbud. Also, you have to press and hold the power button for a few seconds before it responds. It's not necessary, and even when you turn it on there's a long delay before the audio is actually streamed from the base unit. Everything is too"difficult". Also, make sure your TV's digital optical output is set to PCM for these headphones to work. I think you'll have fewer problems using these headphones on your main TV with enough light to operate the controls rather than using them in the dark before bed.
