Review on DYMO Desktop Label Maker: LabelManager 210D - Easy-to-Use Portable Label Maker with Smart Keys, QWERTY Keyboard, and Large Display for Home & Office Organization by Jack Ford

VERY POORLY LIGHTED LCD SCREEN

I was proud to be able to set it up with little to no instructions. However, if given instructions, I could take full advantage of the features I'm paying for. With so many great reviews I see I can go online for more detailed instructions. How much effort and expense would it take to include that little note in the packaging instructions? However, within minutes I was able to print a few simple labels in all caps. Another challenge was getting them to stick to my plastic containers/dish protectors, which I label for convenience. Since the plastic wasn't rigid and straight I had to add some tape to hold it in place. Another issue was that after being warned not to touch the cutting blade, they didn't tell you where it was. Until I know where it is I definitely won't let a child use it unsupervised. Also, I was glad that the original instructions explained what a removable substrate is. Be sure to test this before you blow out the seal! I would buy it again for easy label making. I'll see if I can live with this poorly lit screen! This is my first label printer. I hope I don't get addicted to a new toy!
