Absorbs moisture fairly well. ONCE. I have followed the directions within a weight of 0.5g, a temperature of 2 degrees and a time variance of less than 1 minute and it always comes out burnt/black - NEVER orange. Used a microwave that released gas (?) and discolored a lab glassware. Followed other mfg instructions in addition to 3 other online sources. ALL pathetic failures. I even put it in a lab dehydrator and then dumped the glorified corn sack guts right into the hopper. I'm not particularly proud that I still got it wrong, but I followed the instructions. to letters and numbers with precision equipment and could never use this product more than once. 4.5 kg, zero success.
