I used this product for a little over a year before I got the dreaded radio link error message. I used to wiggle the cable and it worked for a while before I had to give up and buy another antenna (I think I got my 3rd or 4th antenna from a different brand because of this). Giving this product 3 stars because it still works after I found a way to extend the life of the product. Rather than assuming the cable was damaged where it was pinched by my rear sliding door, I put tape on the radio link and now it works fine. So the problem was that the connection had loosened in the past, but the tape held it in place so it couldn't come loose. All of these different antenna cables that I've bought over the past few years have all failed at the connection point to the radio, NOT anywhere in the cable. I wonder how much money I could have saved over the years if I had known this. I didn't read that anyone else found this issue so I had to share it. I hope this is helpful to others.
