Worked on the basis of the old model.

Worked great. I was a bit hesitant as I bought an old base model many years ago and it fits and attaches exactly as advertised. I'm glad my xm is working again.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good product for the price.

I bought this antenna to replace the original antenna that came with my XM setup. It works great only to find out my other was fine anyway. Although this one is a bit more inconspicuous. I kept my other one just in case. However, you must have it if your vehicle has an XM radio. Has a really strong magnetic base that doesn't move.

Decent extra antenna

My car doesn't have a built in Sirius radio so I have a portable with a magnetic antenna on the roof. The antennas work well enough (you still get the occasional blackout) but they only last about a year before the cable gets damaged or water gets into the roof box and starts rusting around the magnet. Since they only cost a few dollars, I think that's acceptable.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Slightly torn

great replacement antenna

This antenna makes a great replacement but be careful where you place it. We passed it under the door seal and where the door met the seal he cut a thin wire and I had to buy another one. It's great if you have a portable xm radio, we've added it to a second car and can have the xm in any car rather than just hardwiring it to one car.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Gotchas

Simple antenna installation for Sirius/XM

This antenna is affordable and easy to install with a low profile. It may be a bit larger than the other antenna you get with most satellite radios, but the magnet is strong and reception has never been an issue. I bought this to replace the antenna I had which was the same antenna. I had to replace it when my windshield replacement company cut the cable.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Works perfectly! in Car Audio

My friend has a Sirius portable satellite radio and his car has all the cables and a stand, but we wanted to take my car on a long trip. We wanted satellite radio but I didn't want to pay and wait for the antenna to be installed. That helped. It worked great. The only catch is that you have to place the antenna in a very good place (where it is recommended in the instructions), otherwise you can get a static signal.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Socket required

Good buy, but still.

If you have anything from SiriusXM, you know how to end this statement. But this product is slightly better than the square one that came with both of my radios. Haven't found any problems with it yet. The cable is slightly (not much) thicker than the cable that comes with most radios. But my advice would be once you find a spot, NEVER move it! Even if you have a hatchback or a trunk lid closes over it, it's fine, just don't mess with it. Once it takes shape you just don't want to repeat it…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some little things

With the tuning this antenna does the job

I used this product for a little over a year before I got the dreaded radio link error message. I used to wiggle the cable and it worked for a while before I had to give up and buy another antenna (I think I got my 3rd or 4th antenna from a different brand because of this). Giving this product 3 stars because it still works after I found a way to extend the life of the product. Rather than assuming the cable was damaged where it was pinched by my rear sliding door, I put tape on the radio link…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Updates available
