This external sound card is not worth your money. My analysis of this product showed that it had poor sound quality for its price point. While it may be compatible with Mac computers, the sound output was filled with static and distortion. One positive aspect was the ease of setup, but that is unfortunately overshadowed by the terrible sound. Save your money and invest in a better sound card..
