All in all I would say this *doesn't* solve your floor cleaning needs. First, no instructions were included. It's pretty easy to understand, but it struck me as odd. After we soaked the pillow and let the Lefant sit for an hour, the pillow frayed less than when I walked around the room in wet socks. While the pad is in contact with the ground, it doesn't stay wet enough to be cleaned without extra pressure. I've included a picture of the original (used as intended) "after" next to the clean pad. With this theory in mind, I placed plastic bubble wrap under the second pad (enough to increase pressure/ground contact, but not enough to prevent function until then). Saturate, let it sink in again in the same room I ran it in before. There's definitely been an improvement, although there's just no good way to use the entire surface, and it still dries pretty quickly. I am attaching a photo of the original dirty pad versus the modified method. Overall, if you need very light dust removal but not serious cleaning, it's worth throwing away. And for the price I'd turn it down entirely if given a second chance.
